Entertaining coming of age and culture clash comedy following two estranged Nigerian brothers as they get to know each other

London teen Yemi (Malachi Kirby) works hard to fit in but is afraid to lose his street credibility when his long-lost brother Ikudayisi (O.C. Ukeje) from Nigeria arrives to live with him and his mom. The siblings barely know one another, and Yemi is less than impressed by his brother’s African heritage, strong Yoruban accent and uncool fashions.

Spending the day together with Iku, Yemi is forced to confront local bullies, the unattainable girl of his dreams and his own African heritage, eventually learning to love and appreciate where he comes from.

Directed by Destiny Ekaragha, who herself grew up in England as the daughter of Nigerian Immigrants, “Gone too far” won the Best First Feature Film Award at the 2015 Africa Movie Academy Awards.

Starring Malachi Kirby (Offender, My Brother The Devil), O.C. Ukeje (Half of a Yellow Sun, Confusion Na Wa), Adelayo Adebayo (Some Girls), Shanika Warren-Markland (Adulthood, 4.3.2.1) and Tosin Cole (Second Coming, Hollyoaks).
